Flight

Flight was inspired by an amalgamation of memories from my years of piloting jet aircraft. Especially vivid were the images of night flights, passing through layers of empyrean cloud, savoring glimpses of the faint clusters of light passing below. The images have joined to form a wondrous, ethereal abstraction in my mind. The painting is the result of a yearning to express the emotion of the unified recollection.
