NIGHT ROADS

Night Roads was done from a photograph taken during a late night return to Lacompte following a flight from Las Vegas to Shreveport. The moon was shining brightly through a supernatural night sky as I traveled the last few miles through rural countryside.

The music I composed for this piece evokes a tone of  ominousness. It was a beautiful night, but in an eerie sort of way…like a favorite mystery novel or movie that has you wondering what’s around the next bend.
